How dashboards are surfaced
1
Configured per tenant
Each tenant is set up with one or more dashboards. When several are configured, they appear as tabs, so a broker can switch between, for example, a production view and an operations view within the same screen.
2
Embedded securely
Each dashboard is loaded through a signed, time-limited token rather than a shared public link. The token is minted per view and expires after a few minutes, so a dashboard URL cannot be copied and reused later or shared outside the app.
3
Scoped by role
What a user can open is scoped by their role. Users only see the dashboards they are permitted to see, so operational or sensitive views can be reserved for the right audiences.
Dashboard configuration is tenant-specific: which dashboards exist, how they are labelled as tabs, and any parameters applied to them are defined per tenant. Two tenants on the same product can therefore have entirely different analytics.
What dashboards are used for
- Portfolio KPIs — headline numbers on the book of business: volumes, values, and their evolution over time.
- Production and performance analytics — how new business and renewals are tracking, broken down along the dimensions that matter to the tenant.
- Operational monitoring — day-to-day operational health, so teams can spot issues early.
Dashboards versus reports
Analytics dashboards and Reports serve different needs and complement each other.Analytics dashboards
Interactive, in-app, exploratory. For monitoring KPIs and performance visually, on screen, whenever a broker wants a live view of the book.
Reports
File-based and structured. For regulatory submissions and insurer exports, where the output is a document produced on a schedule or on demand.
