# Wakam Integration

> Insurance pricing information for perils and coverage

Wakam is an insurance carrier partner. The Korint platform integrates with Wakam to fetch pricing information for different insurance perils and coverage options.

## What We Fetch

The Korint platform uses Wakam to retrieve pricing information for insurance products:

* **Peril Prices**: Cost for each type of coverage (theft, fire, water damage, liability, etc.)
* **Coverage Options**: Available coverage levels and their associated prices
* **Premium Rates**: Base rates and multipliers for different risk factors
* **Product Pricing**: Complete pricing structure for insurance products

This pricing information is used to calculate accurate insurance premiums during quoting and policy issuance.
