The Korint platform integrates with multiple external systems to provide comprehensive insurance services. These integrations extend the platform's capabilities beyond core policy administration by connecting to specialized external services.

## External integrations run

External integrations run:

* On scheduled automations
* On updates to core business entities ([policies](/concepts/core-lifecycle/core-entities/policies), [customers](/concepts/core-lifecycle/core-entities/customers), or [assets](/concepts/core-lifecycle/core-entities/assets))

When triggered by entity updates, each integration can be disabled for specific operations such as [subscription](/concepts/core-lifecycle/signing-new-business), [MTA](/concepts/core-lifecycle/modifying-live-contracts), [renewal](/concepts/core-lifecycle/renewals), or repricing to prevent unintended data changes.

Systems that ensure regulatory compliance and verify customer identity:
